Although the follow-up is insufficient in these patients, their cases illustrate the technical feasibility of total hip arthroplasty in cerebral palsy patients. Hip motion was improved less than is generally observed due to the persistent periarticular stiffness. Pain relief was however very important and the hip and pelvis remained stable, observations in favor of this therapeutic option.
