Éducation motrice et perceptive de la position assise

Acquisition of the sitting position is an important step in a child's functional development. Sitting is a posture where several deficiencies can be revealed. A pathological sitting position which is neglected in the therapeutic scheme can lead to greater irreversible orthopedic disorders which have an important impact on function and quality of life. Proper evaluation of these different pathological factors participating in the construction of functional difficulties with the sitting position can provide an orientation for motor and perceptive education.
