چکیده انگلیسی
In an adult patient suffering from Child Cerebral Palsy consequences, neuromotor disorders affecting the orofacial sphere and dysmorphoses of the manducatory system entail functional pathologies of mastication and ingestion, which often imply resorting to a diet based on gelified or blended food. In a context of motor deficiency, nutritive components and the way these are ingested contribute to the development of bucco-dental pathologies, whose painful functional consequences worsen ingestion disorders and affect nutrition. This creates a pathological cycle that may lead to local and general complications also affecting behaviour and reinforcing disability. So as to stop this cycle, the surgeon dentist must be prepared to deal with countering malocclusions and reeducating ingestion functions as early as possible. He must look to prevention, ensure early detection and treatment of bucco-dental pathologies with the help of an individual-based approach to sedation. This specific preventive and curative care requires multidisciplinary cooperation and networking.
