A large portion of the antetorsion of the upper part of the femur can be explained by the anteversion of the pelvis and the consequential compensatory lordosis. After analyzing the role played by the deep head of the gluteus maximus, in both open and closed chain, the muscle analysis is extended and confirmed by palpation, to the movement of what can be called the gluteus bridge. This movement is chosen because it can be easily performed by the cerebral-palsy child, despite neuromotor deficits. The gluteus bridge with the lower limbs in the Little schema is retained because it enables recruitment of the pelvis retroversion muscles and delordosis.
