The aim of casted seat is to install a person with cerebral palsy (CP) correctly. This seat corrects the posture, prevents the intensification of deformations, frees the upper limbs and allows the patient to have a good body axis, proprioceptive system of reference. Such a seat can only be made after an advanced-factorial evaluation. It is a matter of teamwork, including the patient and his family. The analysis of the different kinds of seats and the various making modes enables the choice of the most adequate installation and an achievement corresponding to the patient's needs.
