Emphysème sous-cutané spontané associé à un pneumomédiastin et à un pneumopéricarde : à propos d'une nouvelle observation

Subcutaneous emphysema is defined clinically by edema of soft tissue localized or diffuse in the upper thoracic region and the neck, it may be associated with a pneumomediastinum and a pneumopericardium. This is a rare but usually benign, requiring symptomatic treatment and monitoring. The presence of subcutaneous emphysema necessary research infection, foreign body ingestion, trauma, or local procedures (endoscopy or dental care), it is called spontaneous when no etiology is found. We report a case of spontaneous subcutaneous emphysema accompanied by a pneumomediastinum and pneumopericardium in a child of 4 years and a half.
