Le traumatisme cranio-cérébral léger : les symptômes et la prise en charge
چکیده انگلیسی
Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is a common neurological disorder associated with physical, cognitive and psycho-emotional symptoms. In 10% to 15% of cases, these symptoms persist beyond a few weeks and become permanent. Recent evidence highlights the importance of early diagnostic evaluation, education and interventions for prevention of chronicity. Intervention consists of providing information/education and support. It should take place in the first hours post-accident and should be multidimensional in order to best understand the complexity and the interactions of symptoms. Despite this evidence, few studies have been conducted in this field. Further research is required to develop standardized mTBI intervention tools. In addition, evidence regarding the most beneficial timeline of intervention for people with persistent symptoms should be determined and clinical practice guidelines should be systematically implemented in hospitals and medical clinics.
