چکیده انگلیسی
Most frequently eczematous diseases, which are localised at the feet, represent allergic contact dermatitis or atopic eczema. Usually in these cases, other parts of the skin are also affected, which makes it easier to diagnose the type of the disease. Possible differential diagnoses of eczema of the foot are psoriasis and tinea pedum. The diagnosis is based on the clinical picture. A skin biopsy with histological examination is only required if a malignant tumour is suspected and sometimes in other skin diseases. In order to exclude a tinea pedis tests for identification of fungi have to be performed. Of particular importance is an allergological workup. Identification of allergic contact sensitization is done by patch tests. Treatment aims to quickly restore the damaged epidermal barrier and thus to ensure the physiologic function of the skin. Main principles of the treatment are based on topic or systemic administration of anti-inflammatory substances, avoidance of irritants and basic treatment.
