Impaired haemostasis and coagulation are frequent in chronic kidney disease. Patients waiting for renal transplantation are at risk of haemorrhagic or thrombotic events, before, during and after transplant surgery. Antiplatelet therapy and anticoagulation management have some specificity in this population.
