Hémoptysie au réveil anesthésique

RésuméL'œdème aigu du poumon postobstructif est une complication rare après extubation qui peut être associée à une hémotpysie. Deux cas d'hémoptysie survenus chez des patients ASA I après extubation faisant suite à une anesthésie non compliquée, sont présentés dans cet article. La compréhension du mécanisme permet un traitement adapté et une résolution rapide de cette complication dont la symptomatologie initiale est spectaculaire.

Postobstructive pulmonary oedema is a complication after extubation that occurs rarely . It can be associated with haemoptysis. We report two cases of haemoptysis occuring in ASA 1 otherwise healthy patients who underwent uncomplicated anaesthesia. Understanding of the mechanism and prompt treatment lead to rapid recovery of this dramatic complication.
