Utilisation du LMA-Fastrach™ en préhospitalier. À propos d'un cas d'anesthésie générale pour dégagement de membre

We report the case of a patient having the lower limb captive of a screw press and whose release required the recourse to a general anaesthesia and endotracheal intubation, whereas the patient was lengthened on the belly, face towards the ground and not mobilizable. The direct laryngoscopy was not realizable in this context; the patient however could be intubated with “the blind man”, thanks to ILMA Fastrach™.
