RETRACTED: The Effect of Cyclooxygenase-2 Inhibition on Acute and Chronic Donor-Site Pain after Spinal-Fusion Surgery

Please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (http://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy).Reason: On January 23, 2009, Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine received notification from the Chief Academic Officer of Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA, of the results of an investigation conducted pursuant to the Baystate Health Policy on Misconduct in Research and Scholarly Activities. The investigation determined that data reported in the article listed above were fabricated. The Baystate Medical Center notification states that the lead author, Scott S. Reuben, MD, fully cooperated with the investigation and that all fabricated data were created under his sole control. Because of this fabrication of data, the editorial board of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine has ordered retraction of the entire article.
