3D echocardiography: The present and the future

Summary3D echocardiography has been proven to be useful for clarifying complicated cardiac anatomies and hemodynamics. Recently introduced real-time 3D TEE may overcome technical and quality problems and result in widespread use of 3D echocardiography in routine clinical settings.
