La relación anverso reverso de Corazón-Intestino Delgado. Pareja de acoplados Corazón-Intestino Delgado

ResumenSe investigan razonamientos que, basados en datos médicos chinos y occidentales, conducen a la comprensión de la asociación del Corazón con el Intestino Delgado, órganos que la Medicina Tradicional China (MTC) en la fase energética Fuego, vincula tanto funcional como anatómicamente. La relación directa entre Hígado y Vesícula Biliar y entre Riñón y Vejiga es reconocida y aceptada tanto en MTC como en Biomedicina. No ocurre lo mismo con las parejas que según la morfofisiología oriental forman el Corazón con el Intestino Delgado, el Bazo con el Estómago y el Pulmón con el Intestino Grueso, pares que Occidente no asocia como tales.Desde la doble perspectiva del médico que practica la medicina occidental y la acupuntura, se investiga las razones por las que en MTC el Corazón y el Intestino Delgado y sus Meridianos establecen una relación Biao-li que los empareja. Para ello utiliza el método comparativo entre datos de anatomía occidental demostrativos de la relación interorgánica y funcional del Intestino Delgado con el Corazón y la energética china de los Zangfu y Jingluo correspondientes. La Biomedicina, que no relaciona el Corazón con el Intestino Delgado, aporta la materialidad de sus descripciones anatómicas, valiosas para la interpretación médica oriental.Esta interrelación entre los 2 órganos y sus Meridianos está muy bien explicada en MTC, cuyas tradicionales concepciones al respecto son corroboradas por las descripciones anatómicas occidentales que, no obstante, ignoran el vínculo funcional-orgánico entre Corazón e Intestino Delgado.

This paper investigates the reasoning, based on both Chinese and Western medical data, that leads to an understanding of the relationship between the Heart and Small Intestine, organs which Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), in the fire energy phase, links both functionally and anatomically. The direct relationship between the Liver and the Gall Bladder and between the Kidneys and the Bladder is well recognized and accepted by both TCM and Biomedicine. The same is not true of the pairings that in Eastern morphophysiology are formed by the Heart and Small Intestine and the Lungs and Large Intestine. These pairings are not recognized by Western medicine.The author, in her dual capacity of doctor of Western medicine and acupuncturist, explains the reasons why TCM views the Heart and Small Intestine and their Meridians as a pair. Data from Western anatomy showing the interorganic and functional relationship between the Small Intestine and the Heart and the Chinese energy dynamic of the corresponding Zangfu and Jingluo are compared. The anatomic descriptions of Biomedicine, which does not associate the Heart with the Small Intestine, are valuable for an interpretation of Oriental medicine.This interrelation between the two organs and their Meridians is well explained in TCM whose traditional concept of this pairing is corroborated by Western anatomical descriptions which, nevertheless, overlook the functionalorganic pairing of the Heart and Small Intestine.
