El sacrificio del buey de carga

ResumenCarbo animalis es un remedio obtenido de la combustión incompleta de la piel del buey. Diversos autores han sugerido el tema del sacrificio como uno de los temas guía de Carbo animalis, basados en la fuente del remedio: el hecho de quemar la piel equivale a la idea del sacrificio, y el buey –como animal de carga en las pesadas labores del campo– sugiere también dicha idea.Se presentan 2 casos crónicos de neumopatías de repetición, ambos curados con Carbo animalis. En ambos casos, el tema central es el sacrificio por la familia, un sacrificio contra su voluntad, la carga es muy pesada. En el fondo hay una enorme sensación de tristeza y nostalgia del pasado.Sin embargo, el remedio también se puede observar bajo otros prismas: algunos autores han aportado otras ideas, como la nostalgia de la libertad perdida o la rigidez y dificultad para adaptarse a los cambios.También hay síntomas físicos de gran valor para la prescripción de Carbo animalis, como se desprende del análisis de los casos propios y de casos ya publicados: inflamación e induración glandular, dolor de cóccix sentado, frío por la noche en la cama, etc.
