Otitis can evolve with complications; mastoiditis should be suspected when patients show worsened clinical conditions, weight loss or decreased hearing. Homeopathic treatment, used concomitantly and in the follow-up of the classical treatment with antibiotics or allopathy, helped the recovery of auditory loss and good health in the five cases described. The most used remedies in this series were Arsenicum album, Silicea, Lycopodium clavatum, Stramonium, Mezereum, Capsicum annum.
