Endosonography of the Normal Mediastinum: The Experts Approach

Endosonography of the mediastinum is an important modality of imaging for chest diseases. Both radial and linear endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) can give similar diagnostic information. Linear EUS is also useful in fine-needle aspiration from masses and lymph nodes. The authors present the techniques of imaging of different structures in normal mediastinum by linear EUS.
