Bisphosphonate-induced Osteonecrosis of the Jaws: Report of 4 Patients

Osteonecrosis of the jawbones is a recognised complication associated with the use of bisphosphonates. This report presents the manifestations of this complication in 4 patients who received intravenous and oral bisphosphonates for the control of bony metastatic diseases and treatment of osteoporosis.
