Buccal Mucosa Elasticity Influences Surgical Margin Determination in Buccal Carcinoma Resection

Buccal mucosa elasticity increased considerably at MMO in patients with buccal carcinoma. This elasticity should be taken into account when calculating adequate surgical margins for transoral resection of buccal carcinoma.
