Are Panoramic Radiographs Predictive of Temporomandibular Joint Synovitis in Children With Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis?

Results of this preliminary study indicate that in this sample of children with JIA, the combination of abnormal condyle morphology and accentuated antegonial notching on a panoramic radiograph correlates with TMJ synovitis on MRI.
