Bilateral synchronous Warthin's tumors of the parotid gland: A case report

Warthin's tumor, known around the world as the second commonest tumor of the salivary glands, even so often arises in a single isolated parotid gland. Bilateral synchronous presentation of Warthin's tumor is very rare. We herein report a case of bilateral synchronous Warthin's tumors occurring in a 66-year-old man who had been a habitual smoker. We also add a brief discussion about the diagnosis and treatment of multiple Warthin's tumors, and the occurrence of this lesion in association with tobacco use.
