1921, ou l'autre histoire de l'insuline : Rosalyn S. Yalow

1921 is the year of the discovery of insulin. Its also the birth year of Rosalyn S. Yalow who left us in 2011. She was the one who discover together with Solomon A. Berson, the principle of radioimmunoassay at the origin of the identification of a huge number of peptide assays, other hormones and markers and in the first place of all, in 1956, the discovery of the first insulin radioimmunoassay (RIA).
