Endoscopic Retrieval Devices

Endoscopy is useful in the clearance of food bolus impactions, retrieval of foreign bodies, and removal of bile duct stones and resected mucosal lesions, which is accomplished by different endoscopic accessories that are passed through the endoscope. This chapter describes these endoscopic retrieval devices, their operation, and clinical applications.
