Treatment options for skin and soft tissue infections: ‘oldies but goldies’

Although much is spoken and written about the requirement for novel antibiotics to treat serious infections, certain well-established agents are still valuable for the treatment of many infections, including those of the skin and soft tissue. These will be discussed in this paper.
