Protocolo diagnóstico de la disnea en un paciente con artritis reumatoide

Approximately 50% of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) develop any respiratory pathology during their life, contributing significantly to increase (10-20%) morbidity and mortality in these patients. Although pulmonary complications usually appear once the disease is already established (4-6 years after the diagnosis of arthritis), occasionally might be the first manifestation of the autoimmune disease (10%). Pulmonary manifestations can occur at the parenchyma, airway, pleura and blood vessel. Identify and treat early developed involvement leads to a better outcome of the patient.
