Pathology and treatment of salivary gland conditions

Many conditions affect the salivary glands. They affect all of the salivary tissue, but all conditions affect the parotid and the submandibular glands preferentially because of their size and location. Adults and children are affected and only the common conditions are discussed in the contribution.
