A note on “Fixed point theorems for fuzzy mappings” by P. Vijayaraju and M. Marudai

In this paper a result on common fixed point theorem for a pair of contractive type fuzzy mappings in a metric space is established which improves the result of Vijayaraju and Marudai [Fixed point theorems for fuzzy mappings, Fuzzy Sets and Systems 135 (2003) 401–408].
