El último paso de la fecundación in vitro: transferencia embrionaria y suplementación de la fase lútea

The aim of this review is to present a practical guideline for the correct implementation of the embryo transfer technique and the management of the luteal phase, based on the scientific evidence published so far. The search was conducted using several electronic databases (such as PubMed, Cochrane, and EMBASE) and using different keywords. The search included reports from 1980 up to 2014. Based on all the information obtained, our working group has made some recommendations according to the levels of evidence established by the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF). The recommendations without much evidence have been established as good clinical practice points.
