Carpal tunnel syndrome in men

This article reviews the literature and shows that it has an overall prevalence in males nearly equivalent to women. Males present with milder symptoms but more severe electrophysiological changes. Male gender is not associated with poor outcome but many male patients are involved in heavy manual work activities which is a poor prognostic indicator.
