Oversized Acetabular Socket Causing Groin Pain After Total Hip Arthroplasty

The causes of groin pain after total hip arthroplasty are numerous, and the condition itself is disabling. Therefore, it is imperative that the cause of the pain is identified and managed appropriately. We report a case where the patient had groin pain after total hip arthroplasty as a result of an oversized cementless acetabular component, which caused a breach in the anterior wall of the acetabulum.
