Intérêt prédictif du test du corset hémibermuda dans la prise en charge chirurgicale des lomboradiculalgies d’origine rachidienne dégénérative. Résultats d’une étude prospective portant sur 83 patients

RésuméCette étude évalue l’intérêt prédictif d’un test par corset hémibermuda pour sélectionner les patients à une stabilisation chirurgicale dans le traitement des instabilités dégénératives lombaires et lombosacrées. Il s’agit d’une étude prospective de 83 patients ayant bénéficié d’un hémibermuda pendant un mois. Nous avons ainsi évalué la douleur lombaire et radiculaire des patients avant le test du corset, pendant le test, et après la chirurgie pour pouvoir ensuite mesurer le taux d’amélioration sur les douleurs pendant le test du corset et après stabilisation chirurgicale. Nous n’avons retrouvé aucune différence significative entre l’amélioration obtenue sur la douleur sous corset hémibermuda et après stabilisation chirurgicale. Le test du corset hémibermuda est un bon moyen de prédire le résultat sur la douleur d’une stabilisation chirurgicale dans le cadre d’une instabilité rachidienne. Nos résultats sont similaires à ceux retrouvés dans la littérature et le corset hémibermuda montre des avantages certains sur les autres techniques prédictives.Niveau de preuve : III.
