Dysplasie cochléovestibulaire. À propos d’un cas

RésuméLa dysplasie cochléovestibulaire ou malformation de Mondini est exceptionnelle. Il s’agit d’une dysplasie cochléaire d’origine congénitale due à l’arrêt précoce du développement de l’oreille interne in utero. Nous rapportons le cas d’un nourrisson présentant une surdité de perception associée à des méningites à répétition chez lequel l’examen tomodensitométrique (TDM) a permis d’établir le diagnostic. Nous soulignons l’importance du scanner à haute résolution dans le diagnostic des dysplasies cochléovestibulaires.

SummaryCochleovestibular dysplasia or Mondini malformation is exceptional. Cochlear dysplasia is due to early cessation of the development of the inner ear during embryonic life. We report on the case of an infant who presented with perception deafness and repeated meningitis. CT allowed the diagnosis of Mondini malformation. We underline the importance of high-resolution CT in the diagnosis of Mondini malformation.
