The Role of Co-Morbidities

Medical conditions can impact sleep and breathing in children. Gastroesophageal reflux disease, allergic rhinitis and asthma are common in children and often coexist with obstructive sleep apnea. Appropriate identification and management of these conditions can improve nocturnal and diurnal symptoms of sleep disordered breathing.
