Update on club foot

This review outlines the present classification, aetiology, diagnosis and assessment of clubfoot (congenital talipes equinovarus or CTEV foot). It also updates the changes that have occurred with regard to the management emphasising the shift away from routine surgical treatment to the serial casting techniques popularised by Ponseti and reasons for this change.
