Épidémiologie du cancer bronchique : des considérations générales à l'aspect moléculaire

Lung cancers are common cancers and have a very poor prognosis. It is the leading cause of cancer deaths in France and worldwide. Behind this unfavorable prognosis hides many disparities according to age, sex, social level and exposure to risk factors. Meanwhile, the detection of genetic abnormalities driving carcinogenesis has totally changed our approach. Tumors are now classified according to their molecular profile which is itself associated with new demographic data. We here propose to present the last recent data on this topic.
