A Retrospective Study of Minipercutaneous Laser Lithotripsy for Treatment of Allograft Kidney Lithiasis Obstruction

ObjectiveTo evaluate the safety and effectiveness of invasive percutaneous laser lithotripsy to manage allograft kidney lithiasis obstruction.MethodsWe treated 11 patients with kidney allograft lithiasis with minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (mPCNL).ResultsAll patients treated by mPCNL showed no residual stones thereafter. All subjects recovered successfully without major complications with improved renal function and reduced serum creatinine values.ConclusionmPCNL was safe and effective to treat kidney allograft lithiasis obstruction. We suggest that it may be considered to be a first-line option for this condition.
