Comment gérer une perte de substance urétrale après le retrait d'une bandelette sous-urétrale ?

The last decade witnessed the widespread use of suburethral slings for stress urinary incontinence. Some rare complications are reported more and more because of this large use. Among them: dysuria and voiding dysfunction, urethral erosions or fistulas may lead to the excision and removal of the entire sling. Management of the resulting urethral defect is difficult. The Martius procedure is the most reported first line therapy. Secondary management of the remaining stress urinary incontinence is an important issue. In this paper, an overview of the management of the urethral defect after the removal of the suburethral slings is outlined.
