Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma: analysis of 44 consecutive resected cases including 5 cases with repeat resections

Prognosis after curative resection of solitary ICC appears favorable. In selected patients with sequential single hepatic or pulmonary recurrence, repeat resection may prolong survival.
