Time-frequency analysis of the baroreflex control of renal sympathetic nerve activity in the rat

► Sympathetic baroreflex sensitivity is estimated in rats using time-frequency methods. ► It reveals fast spontaneous fluctuations of the baroreflex sensitivity. ► These fluctuations are strongly reduced by urethane anaesthesia.
