Upregulation of Npas4 protein expression by chronic administration of amphetamine in rat nucleus accumbens in vivo

► Acute AMPH injection had no effect on Npas4 protein level both in CPu and NAc in vivo. ► Chronic AMPH exposure did not alter the Npas4 protein levels in CPu. ► Chronic AMPH exposure readily increased Npas4 protein levels in NAc.
