Effects of atomoxetine, desipramine, d-amphetamine and methylphenidate on impulsivity in juvenile rats, measured in a T-maze procedure

▶ Impulsivity is a core symptom of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). ▶ Methylphenidate, amphetamine, atomoxetine and desipramine improve ADHD symptoms. ▶ This study demonstrated that these four drugs decreased impulsivity in juvenile rats. ▶ The test of impulsivity in juvenile rats is a suitable model for testing ADHD drugs.
