Comparisons of electromagnetic and piezoelectric floating-mass transducers in human cadaveric temporal bones

► The piezoelectric floating-mass transducer showed a good high-frequency response. ► Both transducers can produce about 94 dB sound pressure level or higher above 1 kHz. ► The piezo type shows better a high-frequency response for the same power input.
