Sustainability of port activities within the framework of the fisheries sector: Port of Vigo (NW Spain)

► The sustainability of the fisheries sector was assessed by the EF indicator. ► Port activities exhibited a higher EF value than fishing activities. ► Resource consumption was the main contribution to the high EF value. ► Measures should be taken to achieve the sustainability of the fishing sector.
