Termite and earthworm abundance and taxonomic richness under long-term conservation soil management in Saria, Burkina Faso, West Africa

► Biodiversity declining is due to unsustainable land management. ► That affects earthworms and termites abundance, biomass and taxonomic richness. ► Manure favored earthworms, while sorghum straw treatments favored termites. ► Light tillage improve both macrofauna biological component compared to tractor plow. ► Integrated conservation soil management is recommended.
