Fat mobilization in water restricted Awassi ewes supplemented with vitamin C

► We study the effect of water restriction in vitamin C supplemented Awassi ewes. ► The observed changes reflect fat mobilization in water restricted Awassi ewes. ► Fat mobilization seemed to be enhanced by vitamin C supplementation. ► Daily vitamin C doses induced more effect than single high doses. ► More research is needed to confirm the findings related to vitamin C.
