Removing Noise from Digital Images Using of Mean Square Approximation

In the paper a two-dimensional approximation filter obtained on the base of mean-square error minimalisation is presented. As the measure of quality the mean square error (MSE) criterion has been used. Image has been corrupted by some noise using normal (Gaussian), Laplace, and uniform distributions of variance σ2 and the mean value equal to zero.
