Field-scale operation of methane biofiltration systems to mitigate point source methane emissions

► One-dimensional version of the model was used as a guiding tool for designing and operating the MBF. ► Mathematical model predicted CH4 oxidation behaviors of the field MBF with high accuracy i.e. (> 80 %). ► Performance of MBF is dependent on ambient temperature and precipitation.
