Bauxite on igneous rocks from Amazonia and Southwestern of Australia: Implication for weathering process

► We provide insight about the weathering in west Amazon and south-west Australia. ► Both regions have bauxite although they have distinct climate evolution in the last 100 Ma. ► The weathering profiles were developed for a long time in tectonic stable environment. ► They are in aluminization process although in the distinct modern climatic environment.
