Centralized and distributed algorithms, which aim to derive the optimal feasible power and weight for joint dual transmitter receiver diversity and power control, are proposed in this paper. We first show that the optimal feasible power and weight can be obtained by executing the centralized algorithm. Then we propose the distributed algorithm that simulates the operation of the centralized algorithm and iteratively adjusts the power and weight of each individual. It is shown that the power and weight obtained from the distributed algorithm converge to the optimal feasible power and weight, and simulation results also coincide with this fact. Furthermore, we also found that the centralized algorithm outperforms the previous approach in the average power level per user and the probability of feasibility.
