Optimization of oil yield of Phaleria macrocarpa seed using response surface methodology and its fatty acids constituents

- Phaleria macrocarpa seed oil was extracted by solvent extraction technique using n-hexane.
- Response surface methodology was used for the optimization of three parameters namely extraction temperature, time and solvent-to-feed ratio.
- Chemical contents of the seed oil were analyzed by GC-MS.
